Here at Contempo Lettings we understand that looking for a new property to rent can be a stressful time.

At Contempo Lettings we aim to make the process as simple as possible and have put together a five step process to finding your perfect home.

Here are the steps involved if you wish to rent a property from us:

Step1
Identify a property you would like to view on our website or on the many portals we advertise on

Step2
Contact us to arrange viewing by e-mail or phone. We can arrange viewings outwith office hours, please contact your local branch who will try to accommodate you.

Step 3
When you have decided that you would like to rent the property we will ask you for the following: a £200 non-refundable holding deposit, a photocopy of either photo page of passport or driving licence and we will ask you to complete an application form.

Step 4
Once we receive your application form, subject to satisfactory reference and credit checks, your application will be approved. We will then agree a suitable move in date.

Step 5
Prior to moving in, you will arrange to meet with a representative at your local branch to sign your tenancy documents. It is essential that everyone named on the tenancy is present at this appointment. You will then, also, need to pay the balance due in cleared funds. This means you must either bring cash with you on the day or arrange to have funds deposited into our bank account allowing time for them to clear.
